What does ‘standard installation’ involve?
Octopus Energy’s EV charge point installations are grouped in to three categories, and consider different factors that help estimate how complex the installation is going to be:
• Where do you want your charger to be fitted?
• How long will it take to run a cable from your main fuse box to your charger?
• Will it be necessary to drill through any walls?
A standard installation is included in this complimentary offer.
If the installation is more complex and that Octopus Energy engineers need to spend more time at your home or business, an additional charge will apply.
Every home and business is different, and you might want something more complex. For example, fixing the charge point to a pole, or hiding cables under floorboards. In these cases, Octopus Energy will prepare a quote for you, referencing the additional charges.
