At a press conference on June 14, the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, M. Serge Wilmes, announced that incentives for electric vehicles will be continued but reduced, after a 3-month transition period, from October 1, 2024.
As electric cars have become more affordable in recent years, the maximum state subsidy for their purchase will now be 6,000 euros, a reduction on the current figure of 8,000 euros. This is still in line with the current cost of most electric cars on the market.
The amount of the bonus will be scaled as follows for all orders for 100% electric vehicles from October 1, 2024:
Used electric cars over 3 years old will also benefit from a €1,500 bonus.
These measures apply to vehicles ordered between October 1, 2024 and June 30, 2026, subject to a minimum ownership period of 36 months. The first entry into service has not been confirmed (before March 31, 2025), and remains subject to finalization of the legislative and regulatory procedures*.

We offer a wide range of electric cars for leasing at competitive commercial conditions, including government subsidies for the purchase of 100% electric vehicles.
Fully electric cars are accessible and affordable, with the majority of our core range offering autonomies of 450 to 550 km. They are also increasingly comfortable, with engine power generally superior to that of a similar combustion-powered car, and moreover immediately available, for more dynamic driving pleasure with complete peace of mind.
Our complete electric mobility solution combines leasing of an electric vehicle, a charging solution and access to energy:
